| Gas Cost Rates
To the right is the GCR (Gas Cost Recovery) cost by month over the 2007 year.
The rates are stated per thousand cubic feet (Mcf) of natural gas. The GCR represents the commodity cost for Orwell to acquire the gas we deliver to you.
The GCR is a dollar-for-dollar pass through cost to us and there is no profit included in the GCR rate. Orwell recovers its operating cost and a return on its investment in pipelines
and facilities through our delivery charge and monthly service fee.
